# How quickly do you clear snow after a snowfall?
## Snow will be cleared within 24 hours of the end of each snowfall.
Our crews are dispatched after snowfall reaches your plan’s threshold (3 cm or 5 cm of accumulation). Our crews will begin operations as soon **as the snow stops falling and main roads are cleared** by the city. Our ability to reach your property depends on city infrastructure. We rely on the city clearing highways, main roads, and residential streets so our crews can safely exit our yards and travel to your location.
During extended storms or single events with heavy accumulation, it may take up to **24 hours after the storm ends** to reach every customer.
To ensure we reach everyone as quickly as possible, our teams must follow the shortest, most efficient path. Because of this, we cannot move individual customers forward in the route.
Status updates are available during storms by logging into your **Custodia My Account.**
